Jay left the RCAF at Camp Borden on October 5, 1945. He did his Matriculation at rehab school, Institutional Management at the U.ofT., obtained electrician license.
He married Berneice Thompson on September 4, 1948 and
they had nine children, 6 boys, 3 girls and to date they have 15 grandchildren
