He was then posted to #271 Sqadron in the United Kingdom on Dakotas dropping supplies and paratroopers operating from Down Ampney. He was then posted to #194 Squadron in Burma to continue dropping paratroopers and supplies.   He was cursed with Malaria. At Hednesford, England in November, 1945 he retired fom the RAF and served as a Charered Accountant in England from 1946 - 47.

In 1947 he emigrated to Toronto, Canada working as a Chartered Accountant for three years, then off to Sao Paulo, Brazil for seven years to 1957. Brian returned to Canada to work for Southam Inc. and retired in 1981 as Vice President of Finance. He married Pauline in 1946 in England and they have three children and six grandchildren. Brian was a long distance sailor and crossed the Atlantic in 1985.

Brian was born on September 12, 1917 in Manchester, England. He was an Articled clerk to a Chartered Accountant before the war.
In April 1939 he enlisted in the Territorial Army (Duke of Lancaster’s Own Yeomanry) and then he enlisted in the RAF on September. 1941. He completed his Intial Training at Scarborough, England and then was posted to Canada to finish his training. He received his Pilot’s Wings at Weyburn, Saskatchewan in November 1942. Back to England were he was at sent to Operational Training Unit at Limavady on Torpedo Wellingtons.
